I have a cat friend named Maw-maw. This cat does not have a gentle meow. Maw-maw i an outside cat contrary to her wishes. She thinks that we are very good friends as has taken liberties with me that I was neither prepared for, nor in favor of. I am a dog person. Purrrring, rubbing, almost demanding attention... pretty nice really, to be wanted, even if is jus by a cat. the dog does it too but with big sloppy wet licks and a 35 pound lean...Maw-maw is friendly and believes in people. I am not the only one she shares her affections with; but I may be the only cat- allergic, dog- lov'in not a cat person she has encountered and has won over. I think that I have a lot of friends like Maw-maw. People that I would pass by for several reasons, folks that do stuff that annoy me like ask me hard questions, and demand attention. And all they give back is friendship, affection and attention. What else is there really?
I wonder if sometimes I act allergic to God and God Maw-maw's me. I dunno, but somehow those three things- allergies, cats and God all came together this morning as I had coffee and wondered what the day would bring... another Monday, my favorite day of the week.
I hope that I can keep
